UtilitySure
is designed for publicly owned and investor owned natural
gas utilities. Utilities that operate peak shaving plants,
propane service and natural gas appliance sales/installation
are eligible for the program. Water and sewer utilities
can also be written in conjunction with a natural gas system.
Companies with the following SIC codes are encouraged to
request information:
4924 - Natural Gas Distribution
4923 - Natural Gas Transmission & Distribution
4941 - Water Supply
4952 - Sewerage Systems
Ineligible
Risks, natural gas utilities with:
- Excessive
amounts of cast iron piping
- Artificial
ordorant
- Excessive
grade 1 leaks
