UtilitySure is designed for publicly owned and investor owned natural gas utilities. Utilities that operate peak shaving plants, propane service and natural gas appliance sales/installation are eligible for the program. Water and sewer utilities can also be written in conjunction with a natural gas system.

Companies engaged in the following operations are encouraged to request information:

Natural Gas Distribution
Natural Gas Transmission & Distribution
Propane (subject to program guidelines)
Sewerage Systems
Water Supply

Ineligible Risks, natural gas utilities with:

• Excessive amounts of cast iron piping
• Utilities that do not use artificial odorant
• Excessive grade 1 leaks
